At the Jedlička Family Winery, we live in harmony with nature. Not because it is a trend, but because we are truly connected with the vine and the beautiful landscape of our part of South Moravia. Organic grape production allows us to return to traditional red wine-making techniques used before 1907.

A winery with history at its heart

The family winery, founded in 2004, manages 32 hectares of vineyards in the Terasy, Čtvrtě, Kraví hora, Růženy and Veselý vineyard sites. These are prime vineyard locations with loamy-sandy soil rich in magnesium. Interestingly, vineyards in this area are mentioned as early as 1355 and have existed here almost continuously ever since. The winery is based in Bořetice, in the historic premises of the former winemaking

cooperative VINOPA, built in 1932 and completely renovated in 2005 while preserving the original character of the main building.

All production is processed using high-quality and gentle technology. In the production of red wines, we return to traditional methods – using longer maceration of the mash. White wines are produced using controlled fermentation with the use of terroir yeasts.

Thanks to this combination, our wines carry distinctive varietal characteristics, rich aromas and a strong expression of terroir.

Red wines are typical for our winery – full-bodied and structured, ideal for gastronomy. Our portfolio includes around 40 vintage wines, including straw wines.

We regularly participate in and receive awards at the most prestigious exhibitions in the Czech Republic (Král vín ČR, FESTWINE, Meditrina) as well as at a number of international competitions (Vinalies Internationales Paris, AWC Vienna, Galicija vitis and others). Our wines can also be found in the National Wine Salon of the Czech Republic.

Our white wines are produced using controlled fermentation with terroir yeasts. Thanks to this combination, the wine carries distinctive varietal characteristics, aroma and a strong expression of its terroir.

Our red wines

Red wines are typical of our winery. Full-bodied, structured wines with pronounced notes of dark berry fruit are intended mainly for gastronomy. Our range includes more than forty vintage wines, including straw wines. In the production of red wines, we return to traditional methods by using longer maceration of the mash.

Cuvée Túfary & Cuvée Kácary

Cuvée Kácary

The flagship of our winery. A carefully composed cuvée of three varieties – Pinot Noir, Saint Laurent and André. A harmonious, elegant wine of deep ruby colour. Pronounced aromas of cherries, sour cherries and plum preserve with a hint of dark chocolate. A full and well-balanced wine with a long, gently tannic finish.

Cuvée Túfary

A pleasant wine – a greeting from the Velké Pavlovice region. It is made from three interesting varieties – Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Saint Laurent. Ruby reflections in the glass. A full fruity aroma with hints of plums, cherries and small dark fruits. The taste is expressive, full and spicy, with a long finish. Main cultivated varieties: André, Blaufränkisch, Saint Laurent, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Rhine Riesling, Welschriesling, Sauvignon, Gewürztraminer, Grüner Veltliner.
